Singing Cookies!!!

First I want to thank J for sending this to me!!! I have been looking for this for a long time on You Tube, and now I finally have it.

It's not as bad as it was at first, but when we first started First Place this is what I felt like. I'm that poor tempted woman on the couch and yes when your on First Place cookies really do sing to you!!!!!LOL!!!!

Behind the Music!!!LOL

I love music. One of my favorite bands is Unhindered . I heard them at XTREME in Gatlinburg a few days after Christmas. There GREAT!!!! I highly recommend you checking out their myspace. (Click on their name above, and it will take you there!!)



I heard someone a few months ago that I had never heard, and am now hooked on!Kari Jobe. (same deal with the myspace!) My favorite song of hers is My Beloved. It's beautiful.

I have some studying to do. Test tonight!!Please pray....it's biology....not my strongest subject. Thank for the prayers the other day for my Art test!! I made a 90! I really appreciate it. Love you all. Hope you enjoy the music.

I'm boring....but 17 pounds lighter!

I'm sorry but I'm just not having a very interesting life right now. (go to school, come home, do more school work, go to bed.....do it all over again) There are a few thing, but once I spill the beans it might be another 14 days before I write something else!!!LOL!!! Thanks for the notice KK!!LOL!!! I really didn't know it had been that long.

We had First Place last night....and God worked a miracle. I lost 6 pounds ( Over 2 weeks. I wasn't there last week.) I just knew I gained about 5 pounds, but I guess not. It was one of those weeks .... I wanted something sweet soooo bad I actually got out the almond bark!!!:0 I know it's shocking!!! And I tried to hide it from my sister. It worked, but I don't advise hiding things from your family!!LOL!!Really! So, so far, with I think 3 weeks left, I have lost 17 pounds! I don't want to toot my own horn, but........Toot!Toot! I'm just kidding! I'm excited.....I can now fit back into my "9th grade jeans"!!!The sad thing is I am back down (a little under) what my drivers licence says......but I've only had them for about 2 1/2 years! I feel 10 times better than I did before, and I am really going to miss it when it's over. I love getting to do the Bible study with the ladies. It's good to be able to be so close to ladies in my church. Y'all are truly a blessing!!!I Love You!!!

And last but not least........ May 1st we are going on a cruise!!!YAY!!!YAY!!! I'm sooo excited, and a little scared, but I'll get over it!! If I get my passport back in time!LOL!! I promise momma after I get done writing this I am going to look for my birth certificate! It will be fun! I am excited about the women's trip. Last year was a lot of fun, and a great get away.

Well I have to go!Pray for me please... I have a midterm tomorrow night 5 o'clock!! And pray for my mom....she's sick!!!Love you all!!!

Thirty-One

I had my second Thirty-One show the other day, and it turned out great!! It turned out to be a $925 show!!!That awesome!!! I am very excited about this new adventure!!!LOL!!! Unconditional Love

Today I was on my way home from school and turned on Moody Radio. I don't know who was speaking or exactly what he said, but it was something like this. (I added a little to pertain to myself) God loves us the same today as he did yesterday, and the same as he will when we are with him in heaven...He doesen't love us more on the days that we read our Bible. He dosn't love us less on the days when we argue with a family member. His love is unconditional. The dictionary says that unconditional means... not limited by conditions. (http://www.dictionary.com/) I love that...God's love does not come "under certain conditions". If I did this or if I did that. You know what I'm saying??? It's good to know that God's love is not something that I have to earn, or something that I have to continue to work for. I'm glad its not a points system!!!! Because if it was Manda would be in the negative numbers.!!!I have always known that, but I guess today I really thought about it. GOD'S LOVE IS UNCONDITIONAL!!!! I hope you can understand this.....I have read it over and over and can't determine if it is clear. Love you all!!!!

Valentine's Day

(This was not the cake we had.)


Valentine's Day!!!!This Valentine's Day I was not as tempted by food as I thought I would be, but don't get me wrong.....I was tempted. And kinda gave in!!!....Don't hurt me J.LOL!! Yesterday I went to my dads and ate supper with him, his girlfriend,her mom, her daughter, and her granddaughter.(Did you get all that!!) We decided just to eat in, and dad went to Katy's Katfish to get a chicken coupe!!(is that how you spell it?)If you don't know what that is....it's a big thing of chicken fingers, hush-puppies, and slaw for the whole family. We also had baked potatos with ours. It was good, but the whole time I ate it I felt like DIRT!!!!!!There was a little devil on my left shoulder telling me to go ahead and eat it, I could just work out more today. And besides.....It's Valentine's Day!!On my right shoulder there was a little J (my First Place Leader) telling me...."There's enough carbs in that meal to last you a week!!!!"LOL

Then a giant heart shaped Peanut Butter cake was layed on the table!!!Dad cut everyone a piece. As he handed me the cake I thought about just saying no, but I gave in. And then I had a cup of coffee with it.(that was prob. the best thing I had all night, exchanges wise)L and J, I don't know why I am even going to say this, but Mrs. Black ( I hate not saying people's name, I'm confusing myself) made the cake, and I didn't want to hurt her feelings!!!!I know! I know!!

Anyway, no one has to get on to me. I feel like dirt, but am going to work out more than I usually do today. And I have to now that I've told ya'll. I have worked too hard to lose my 10 pounds, and I am not going to let one meal set me back!!!!

On the up side LOST was awesome last night!!!!I am not even going to try to explain what happened, I would be typing all day. (And you still prob. wouldn't understand it!! Who does? I don't!!!LOL)And my dad sent me flowers!!!How Sweet!!!Love you all!!!!!

Prayer Request

I would like everyone to remember my mom's family in your prayers. She just found out this morning that her first cousin, his wife, and their two kids were killed in a car wreck yesterday. Mom's cousin found it on the internet.... so at the time they don't know much. Please keep them in your prayers. Thanks!Love you all!
