Tonight at church was the auction. People bring handmade things or food, pretty much whatever....anyway, the money raised at the auction goes to the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering!It was so much fun!We laughed until we cried. I don't know how much money was raised right now. It was a lot though. I'll update you when I find out. One man in the church made these wooden Alabama and Tennessee things that you hang your keys on. Like I need it, but it's for Lottie....come on! They tried selling the two together, but what fan in their right mind would buy one with the other.I don't remember what the bid started at, but before it was over I had bought an Alabama Key Holder for $21! M, the choir director was the auctioneers helper, and was helping everyone along in thier bidding. I don't know who I was bidding against but dadgumit I won!!WOOHOO! ROLL TIDE! And might I add, the Alabama one went for more that the Tennessee one!!!!!LOL!! The pastors wife's dad was in town today and was sitting across the table from me and mom while we were eating. He was so sweet. He's a big Bama fan and after I won he gave me the money to buy it. He wouldn't take the money back and he wouldn't take the key holder.(There's got to be a more specific name for this.?.?.?. Key holder?) He was very sweet.



We had refreshments before and I made cupcakes. Have to share some pics! The snowflake is white chocolate with blue sprinkles. (stole that idea from my boss)

Old Coffee!

Ok. so I can only write a very little bit because it has been one CRAZY week with school and I've got some work to do before I go back to TN. On a kinda gross wierd note.......I have been drinking old coffe for like 2 days!Unknowing, but it is now in my system. I was pouring a cup this morning and it was cold so I just figured the pot had been turned off and I got there too late, so I warm it up in the microwave. I'm ok with that.....Well Tonja walks in and says " Oh, did you make coffee?"..."No, did you?" "No, I haven't made any in 2 days!" MMMMM. freshest stuff i've ever had!!!!! Got to do some homework. Happy Birthday Uncle Bryan!

My Uncle's Birthday is the 13th, so happy early birthday to him. I knew I would not be home on his birthday so I brought his cake in to give it to him this week. He has always loved the Boston Celtics. Back when Larry Bird played so it's been a while, but he still like them.



My mom's birthday was the first. She just wanted something simple with some roses.....

I don't have a title.

I went to school today to talk to someone about how my transfering was going to work out and Lucky me...like 14 hours from Northeast does not transfer. That's like a whole semester. Some things she said they might let me sub for, but not sure. CRAP!!!I hate that. That's just more time I have to spend at school, but I'm trying to be positive, but part of me wants to cry! I was going to register today, but I am going to have to sit down and talk with my boss. I'm not sure that I can go with out having to go some Thursdays which is one of the two day I work. Not that my boss would not be flexable with my schedule, it's just that if I don't work, I don't get paid!I am getting stressed and ready to be out of school. I know I shouldn't wish my life away, but If I could fast foward to about 24 that would be ok with me.

On the up side....I got a new CD!!!I love music. A little backgroud information....I really wanted to go to Toby Mac's Winter Wonder Slam in Nashville this friday, but I am coming to Ider because sisters reception is Sat. Then its going to be in Huntsville Saturday night, but that is the day of the reception and that night is the SEC Championship!!!ROLL TIDE!!! Anyway I found this band, Family Force 5 through Toby Mac (yeah we're pretty tight!LOL) because they are going to be at Winter Wonder Slam. They are described as Crunk Punk. They are a mixture of 80's,a little techno in my opinon,and they have a unique sense of humor. Most of you prob. will not like this. Like I can prob. name you.....It's not praise and worship. It's Party music!

Thankful for Cake. I love it!

Hey! I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving with your family. We did. I ate three different Thanksgiving meals that day and I am still feeling a little full, but it was worth it. I made a few cakes this week, hope you like them.

Wedding Bells

Tomorrow, my sister will be a married woman. I sound like her mother, but time flies. I can't believe my big sister is getting married. I am very proud of them both. They are two very special people, and I can't wait to say my brother-in-law. I guess all of you know that they are not having a wedding, but just the two of them are going to get married and we are having a reception a few weeks after they get back.

Mom put together a basket of food for them to take to keep in their cabin so they wouldn't have to go buy everything. I don't have a picture of it i forgot to take one. Believe it or not this was not my idea......Mom asked if I would like to make them a small cake for them to take with them. That way they could have some cake on their wedding day. Of course I said yes!!!!

Wanna feel a little old......talk to a 10 year old!

Last night I was watching Aladdin on the family channel for the countdown to the 25 days of Christmas. Which in my opinion is a little stupid. It's a countdown to a countdown, but ...... Please no ridicule about watching Aladdin, I love movies like that and any type of plays.Love musicals. (One day when I have a real job I am saving for a trip to New York to see a Broadway play, but by that time gas may be $10...we'll see.) Thank you KK for taking me to see Anne at Northeast when I was younger, you started something.LOL.Anyway back to my point. While I was watching this my little brother comes in and says "what are you watching?" At the time I didn't think anything of it. I simply said Aladdin, but it hit me when he said "What's Aladdin?"


WHAT'S ALADDIN? Who doesn't know who Aladdin is? He's only 10, but I thought for sure he had seen Aladdin!!!! Mom said..."Well Manda it probably came out the year he was born." Yeah ok i give him that, but I looked it up and It came out 6 years before he was born! I know that I am in no way old, but for a moment last night i was feeling a little aged. He also has not seen the Little Mermaid, and that would be because it came out a decade before he was born.lol. So if you want to feel a little old, go talk to a 10 year old.

I'd make a great rich woman!

Today me and mom went to Columbia so she could find something to wear for Cina's reception. I found something to wear Saturday. So, I technically didn't have to go but I wanted to shop too. DUH!!! I have come to the conclusion that I would be an awesome rich woman!!! I LOVE to shop! I am always looking for a deal, and if you know me well enough you know I'm not buying it unless it's on sale. This, being time for Christmas shopping, is not the time to be buying for yourself, but I did it anyway. I got two pair of shoes for $22. Of course they will probably kill my feet, but they were on sale.lol. I can't make myself pay $60 for one pair of shoes that I can only wear with a few things. So thanks to some tape, my nightstand, and a white pillow case...Here they are.......

Leg Pains and Cakes

I was reading blogs and remembered "hey, it's been a while writing on my own!" So... First I would like to tell a quick version of what happen yesterday. Mom and Eric were gone to Ider this weekend to help Cina paint and trying to get the house in organized order before they get married. Anyway, they got back yesterday and called me to come help them unload some extra furniture from Cina's at Eric's moms. I was walking around the outside of the trailer, not really paying attention to where I was stepping and BAM!!!! I hit my shin on the light sticking out on the side. Dadgum !!!!!(is that a word?) I used to say that a paper cut was the worst pain, but I take that back. It's a tap to the shin by a light on a trailer that by the way doesn't even work. I have heard Judith say that If you can't say it in the pulpit, don't say it on your blog. Well, the next part is not appropriate for the pulpit, but I apologize to anyone in the neighborhood who heard the dirty word that leaked out of my mouth. I made it out ok, just a bruise and knot. I feels much better this morning, not so much of a throb.

I have a few cakes coming up in the next couple of weeks. Can't wait to share. Britt's Auburn cake is the week of Thanksgiving, so I will put pictures up. I know, It's Auburn, but that's what she wanted!!!!Bless her heart!!!LOL. I am actually really excited. I have never done anything quite like this before.

Oh...I almost forgot! There is a lady a few towns over that is selling all of her cake pans!!!!WOOHOO!! She is selling them for $5!!!! And candy molds for 50 cents!!!I can't wait. I am going to her house to look at them today at 2. Most of them are character pans like....trucks, hearts. cartoon character...stuff like that. You never know when someone might want a cartoon cake!! Well, I have been up forever and haven't eaten. My stomach is needing some attention. Have a great day.

Just What's on My Mind.

Until I moved I had never had a Sundrop. I had heard of it, but never drank one. You can't buy them in Alabama, that I know of. That is the town favorite! It's such a big deal, the youth room at church has a Sundrop Machine! The other night between scenes at Judgement House the subject came up and no one could believe that I had never had a beloved Sundrop until I had one at work.(My boss is obsessed with them too.) I don't think their that good. They are really sugary, but their OK. I guess it's just an acquired taste. Anyway, that was pointless, but on my mind.

I made another cake...go figure. I had made some cupcakes to take to church Saturday, and with the leftover batter made Z (Tonja's grand -daughter) a small cake.



Speaking of her, she is just adorable. She was at sisters shower yesterday, and I was taking her to the bathroom when I mentioned the Pumpkin contest. Her pre-school was having a pumpkin carving contest and she won, or as she said. "No, Manda, I didn't win...It was best over all!" I guess that's better than winning.lol. She wanted to make it Cinderella's carriage, so with some help from Nana they made it happen. It is so cute.

Fun and Tears

I mentioned earlier that life has been pretty hectic this week because of Judgement House and school. Last night I had some math to do so after work and a hot shower I got started. I went to bed around 11 something. Not the latest, but I really didn't want to get up at 5:30 to take another test before work. I usually leave the house to get to work on time at 7:45. It's not far away but I hate being late. At 7:44 this morning I was running around the house trying to get to the dryer to get my jeans with a t-shirt and panties on and a piece of turkey bacon in my hand. But I got their by eight.

Wednesday was out our first night in Judgement House. Y'all, it is so much fun! I love it. Luckily being in the heaven scene means people don't come through as quick as the others so we get a little more down time. I have met a lot of very nice people. I am really liking this church. Don't worry, it will never be Ider Baptist (I still love y'all), but it's great.

Let me tell you a little about our scene...... It starts out with the people walking through coming in and they stand in front of the gate. A sweet little girl H, runs and says " Jesus! Jesus! Their Here! Their Here!(She is so precious. It makes my heart melt!)
Jesus: "Open the gate and let my people in."
L opens the gate and the people are SUPPOSED to make a semi-circle (they don't always cooperate)
Two characters come through and say their lines (I won't go through all that.) But, Jesus goes around and says something to each person. When he finishes, this is the part that gives me chill bumps, he comes back to the front and says:"Enjoy the place I have created for you. Time cease to exist. Your eternity now begins." Tear drop. Tear drop.

If I haven't lost you, you now know a little about how it goes. Wednesday night in the middle of one of Jesus trips around the room, we hear a (excuse my poor spelling of sound effects) cacccchhhhhhh! Yeah, I'm not good at sound effects, it's a toilet. We are set up in the fellowship hall right beside the bathrooms, and someone would have had to open the door as soon as someone else flushed. It added a great touch!LOL

Our first group tonight was a group of some older people. There was this little old lady with a walker that was in that group. Everyone held their composure until Jesus (C) came around and and whispered to her, and the poor lady just squalled. I hate seeing old people cry! It's the worst! Well that made me cry of course. I could just imagine what was going through her head. One day she would be standing in front of her Savior and him telling her "Well done my good and faithful servant!"I'm crying just typing it. sniff. sniff.It has been great. I know God has a hand in it, and it will turn out to give him glory. They are taping it so when the video is made I will try to get it on here. Still one more day to go.

Well, it's 11:30. I'm pooped and going to bed. Love you all.

Busy!Busy!Busy!

This week is going to very busy so I doubt there will be anymore post this week, but you never know. This week is our Judgement House and one of the busiest weeks of my school life. I am going today to get some information from Columbia State. (The branch in Lewisburg) I am trying to see if they can give me any information about a loan and getting into school by next semester. Even though I haven't been in Tennessee for a year. We'll see.I also have a butt load of math to do and to write some on my essay!!!We also have dress rehearsal tonight at 6:30. I am an angel in the judgement house. It is going to be fun. The only problem is Heaven is way too hot!We are in the building and the rest of the scenes are set up under tents outside so it's cold everywhere else but in heaven. We have to solve that problem because their are quite a few people in there. Anyway, I have to go get ready and get my day started! Hope everyone has a great day. Love you all!

Last Minute Customers!

So... I got a new phone this evening. After work, I met mom at the verizon place and we got new phones. WOOOHOOO. The people working loved us so very much because we came in about ten after five and they close at five thirty! We were their favorite customers of the day, you know it!I hate to be that way, but I don't get off until five and waiting until tomorrow would just be insane!Right? The lady checking us out wasen't as overjoyed as I was too get my new phone. I can't say I would have been in the best mood either.

***This has nothing to do with phones, this is just how my scattered mind works. You would not believe the people that order cakes and forget to pick them up. They always get picked up, but sometimes not without a phone call. We close at five, and at about 4:55 today I called a lady who had an order of 2 cakes and and order of 3 dozen cookies. I couldn't get a hold of her, but I'm sure she picked them up later. I just think that's something pretty important that I don't think I would forget.....I can't say anything, give me enough time and I will do something of that sort.***

Anyway, I got a LG enV²™ in Black. Mom got the red/maroon one.



I like it. It opens to a full key pad for easy texting, but still small enough to fit in your pocket! It's smaller, slimmer, and sleeker than ever! Forget the bakery, I'm going to work for Verizon.lol.

On another note, I need a remedy for dry skin. Lotion just dosent do the trick. My hands are terribly dry. I have heard to put some kind of vassaline type lotion and then put cotton gloves on while you sleep. I haven't tried it yet but it's worth a shot. Does anybody know another solution?

Posting Two Days in a Roll!!!!Don't worry I checked my temp. I'm not sick.

I need some help with my ipod. When I plug it in to my laptop it says that it can't do anything with it because it is already in another library. That library being the one at sisters house.I want to make it compatible with a new library, the one on my computer. Does anyone know how to do that? I don't want to lose the songs I have on here because they came from cds of friends and I will never get them all back on there. So if you know how let me know please.

Also I want to change my blog. When I started it I didn't know what I was doing and just typed in "I'll Try." It has no significance to anything whatsoever. I started another one a while back called "The Dessert Fairy", but like I'm gonna write on two. HA. I don't write on one half the time. Anyway, I think the name is kinda gay, but I kinda like it too. I have loaned out a software to a friend but when I get it back, and find the time I am going to attempt to make my on layout.I want to change it up and maybe I will post more if I like the way it looks. So... for my sake of really wanting to do a poll, here we go.........

Cakes and Cookies

This past week was crazy, but lots of fun. My grandmothers birthday was Thursday, Oct. 16. (Don't hold me to that one.) Anyway, we went down Friday after work and Saturday celebrated her birthday. I wanted to make her a cake so I did but I also wanted to make a few other things. I had originally thought of making the kids of The Preacher's Wife some cookies. I just got these cool new sports cookie cutters.Then I had leftover batter so I made a small cake for "the girl" and some mini football cakes. Can you say over ambitious. Making all of this was fun it was the transporting them 2 1/2 hours that was not the fun part. I'll get back to that first, here are the pics.

The black food coloring had bled and was turning the edges of the number green. Blah! I hate black food coloring. It always bleeds on me. If anyone know how to stop that let me know!Please.

.....back to the transporting part. In my mom's car we had four people, a dog, and my lap stacked with three cake boxes trying to get to Ider and on the way attempting to eat. The longest two hours!!!! I didn't think the cakes were going to make it. I was holding on for dear life. Around every curve I attempted to move with the motion of the car so the cakes wouldn't slide. But they made it safe and sound. With the exception of the bleeding jerseys!LOL!

To My Aunt Pat

Aunt Pat,
This is especially for you. I know you check it everyday and I never write. Sorry.....

for everyone:
Things are going well in Lewisburg. I am enjoying it but the reason I never write is I have a pretty boring life. I get up do homework and go to bed. I did get the job at the bakery so on Thursday and Friday I am makin' cakes all day. I could tell some pretty funny stories of the cakes people have requested, but they are not always appropriate. LOL! I will try to write a little every couple days, but I can't promise for everyday. One thing I will share is how crazy my math class is. It is "Math for Elementary Teachers." I was doing an addition problem and it asked me to do the problem in Russian Peasant Method. I kid you not. If only you could have seen the look on my face. What the crap? What will they think of next to teach kids. This class is meant to teach me how to teach kids how to do math, and never in my elementary years do I remember adding the Russian Peasant Method, but I bet I will never forget.

Today me and mom went to Chattanooga and met my sister where we bought her wedding dress!!!!!!!!Yay!!! It's gorgeous!!!She is going to look BEAUTIFUL.I have a pic. of me and her in the dress but she would kill me if I showed the everyone before her reception. Special thanks to the people throwing her the shower. I will see you all then. I will be in town Friday night after work and Sat., but I wont be at church Sunday. Maybe I will see some of you around town.

Well I am out for tonight. I am multi-tasking, writing and watchin "You've Got Mail", and I want to get back into the movie. Love you all.

Just to catch you up.

Oh, I know it's been a while and I have several people on my tail about not writing. But I'm back!! I think the last time I wrote something it was about the cruise. Well that was 3 or 4 months ago! Anyways, I have a lot to catch you up on......

I have recently moved to TN to live with my mom. No i will NEVER be a Tennessee fan. Don't even joke. That's not funny. LOL. NO really. I like it so far. Right now it is pretty boring. My mom is at work so I am just hanging out in a place where everyone I know is at work or out of town. I start to school next week so things will pick up a lot. I am also looking for a job so that will help to.

I have been going to Mount Mariah Baptist Church. I like it, the people have been very friendly and I am excited about getting more involved. But don't get me wrong it will never be like Ider Baptist. I love ya'll and miss you!!!They are having a judgment house this fall and I am going to be an extra. I think it will be fun.

In school I am taking Physical Science, Math for elementary teachers, American Lit., and Religion- New Testament. So I might be calling you Lisa!!LOL! Please pray for my schooling we are rushing to get things done in time.

I know I haven't said much but I have to go. I am going to solve this boredom problem with a trip to the mall! Love you all.

Cruisin', Cupcakes,& Work!!!

So.. we got back from our Cruise a long time ago, but yes I'm just now writing about it. It was sooo much fun. Thanks for all of the prayers. We got home safe and sound. I only got sick one day, and it was not that bad. Not throwing up sick, just get me off this crappin' boat sick.By the time the trip was over getting of the boat was the last thing I wanted to do. We got so attached to our waiters.If you've never been on a cruise, you eat at the same table every night with the same waiters, so by the time we left we had a little attachment problem.Our waitress' name was Banga.She is from Lithuania. Our assistant waiter was I Wayana from Indoneseia. They were both so sweet. Our Stateroom Steward, (is that right? I don't remember what he was called.)Errol was from India. He too was very nice. We were very well taken care of. I can honestly say that was the best trip I have ever had and I WILL take another one.

Oh man I have so much to tell you and so little time. I have to get the house vacumed before I get the dog from the groomers.

Here are the cupcakes I made for the birthday. I think this is probably the worse picture I could have taken.But they were good.It was Martha Stewart's Ultimate Chocolate Cake Recipe. With a chocolate (fudgy) icing!!YUM!YUM! The dot in the middle was supposed to be a perkey little "dollop", but because it was the consistancy of fudge it just kinda fell. It also has light pink sanding sugar on the top. They were good, but were part of the reason I gained a little weight!But as Martha said they are "excedianly moist"!!!LOL!!!



Also, I have a job!!!!! I start Monday at Kids Kottage. I am really excited, but a little nervous. I guess just because it is something new, but I thinks I will really enjoy it. Well I know it's not much but I have to get some work done!!!Love you all!Maybe it won't take me this long next time to fill you in on my exciting life!LOL!

Crazy for Cupcakes

If you didn't know I'm CRAZY about cupcakes. Any little individual serving of any dessert, but cupcakes are my fav.I love looking up pictures of cupcakes on blogspot. I never knew there was so many. Well I found this and immediantly thought.."hey!that looks like LOST", and guess what...It is! Aren't they just too cute.

We leave Thursday for the cruise. I am excited, but more excited about school being over!!!And vanilla!!!Vanilla you ask?!?!?! Yes, Mexico has this great vanilla. When Momma and Sister went on their cruise they brought home some vanilla.Cheap too!!!So I am so stockin' up!!!! When we get back I am making cupcakes for a birthday. I'll take some pictures and let you be my critics!!LOL!!No seriously I want you to tell me what you REALLY think. Cruisin' in 2 Weeks!!!

Last night was our First Place meeting, and good news has arrived!!!!I lost 6 pounds!!It had to be because of Miss Denise. Thank you for kicking my butt!! A good while before First Place was over last time I completely quit exercising. I know....shame, shame. But I have started back and I feel much better.

According to my Myspace countdown we have 14 days, 14 hours, 30 min, and 40 sec. until we leave for our cruise!LOL!!I am so excited. I am really more excited about school being over.PRAISE THE LORD!!!! I have a lot of work to do in these next two weeks. Please pray that I will get myself together and get everything done.I know I haven't said a lot, but I've GOT to get some work done. Love you all!!!!

Denise Austin Kicked My Butt!!!!!

I called J this afternoon to see if I could use one of her workout videos.(she finds all the bargains at McKay's LOL!!!!) One that particularly focuses on the tummy. For as long as I can remember I've had a little "spare tire" goin' on. Anyways, I went by J's and picked up Denise Austin's Super Stomachs. Oh my goodness!!! I thought I may actually die. I put it in and rewinded it (VHS from 1993!LOL!!!)At first I was so pumped, but that quickly faded. I was going pretty good at first, fairly strong and then I heard those words no one ever wants to hear......"Okay!Now that we're done with our stretches lets get started with out workout!"

What!!!That was just the stretches!!!!

I am so out of shape that the stretches wore me out!!!How sad is that!?!? This is one of those workout videos that you want to do alone. I was constantly looking at the door praying my sister didn't walk in!She would NEVER let me live down how ridiculous I looked!!!Especially at first when you don't know what's going to happen so your a step behind the whole time!!!LOL!!!

Well, I am going to TRY to do this everyday....depends if I can get out of the bed in the morning. We leave on our cruise in about 2 1/2 weeks so I need to work really hard to try to lose as much as possible in that time. I am going to relax a while and watch a little Home Improvement. I love me some Nick at Nite!!

First I want to thank J for sending this to me!!! I have been looking for this for a long time on You Tube, and now I finally have it.

It's not as bad as it was at first, but when we first started First Place this is what I felt like. I'm that poor tempted woman on the couch and yes when your on First Place cookies really do sing to you!!!!!LOL!!!!

Behind the Music!!!LOL

I love music. One of my favorite bands is Unhindered . I heard them at XTREME in Gatlinburg a few days after Christmas. There GREAT!!!! I highly recommend you checking out their myspace. (Click on their name above, and it will take you there!!)



I heard someone a few months ago that I had never heard, and am now hooked on!Kari Jobe. (same deal with the myspace!) My favorite song of hers is My Beloved. It's beautiful.

I have some studying to do. Test tonight!!Please pray....it's biology....not my strongest subject. Thank for the prayers the other day for my Art test!! I made a 90! I really appreciate it. Love you all. Hope you enjoy the music.

I'm boring....but 17 pounds lighter!

I'm sorry but I'm just not having a very interesting life right now. (go to school, come home, do more school work, go to bed.....do it all over again) There are a few thing, but once I spill the beans it might be another 14 days before I write something else!!!LOL!!! Thanks for the notice KK!!LOL!!! I really didn't know it had been that long.

We had First Place last night....and God worked a miracle. I lost 6 pounds ( Over 2 weeks. I wasn't there last week.) I just knew I gained about 5 pounds, but I guess not. It was one of those weeks .... I wanted something sweet soooo bad I actually got out the almond bark!!!:0 I know it's shocking!!! And I tried to hide it from my sister. It worked, but I don't advise hiding things from your family!!LOL!!Really! So, so far, with I think 3 weeks left, I have lost 17 pounds! I don't want to toot my own horn, but........Toot!Toot! I'm just kidding! I'm excited.....I can now fit back into my "9th grade jeans"!!!The sad thing is I am back down (a little under) what my drivers licence says......but I've only had them for about 2 1/2 years! I feel 10 times better than I did before, and I am really going to miss it when it's over. I love getting to do the Bible study with the ladies. It's good to be able to be so close to ladies in my church. Y'all are truly a blessing!!!I Love You!!!

And last but not least........ May 1st we are going on a cruise!!!YAY!!!YAY!!! I'm sooo excited, and a little scared, but I'll get over it!! If I get my passport back in time!LOL!! I promise momma after I get done writing this I am going to look for my birth certificate! It will be fun! I am excited about the women's trip. Last year was a lot of fun, and a great get away.

Well I have to go!Pray for me please... I have a midterm tomorrow night 5 o'clock!! And pray for my mom....she's sick!!!Love you all!!!

Thirty-One

I had my second Thirty-One show the other day, and it turned out great!! It turned out to be a $925 show!!!That awesome!!! I am very excited about this new adventure!!!LOL!!! Unconditional Love

Today I was on my way home from school and turned on Moody Radio. I don't know who was speaking or exactly what he said, but it was something like this. (I added a little to pertain to myself) God loves us the same today as he did yesterday, and the same as he will when we are with him in heaven...He doesen't love us more on the days that we read our Bible. He dosn't love us less on the days when we argue with a family member. His love is unconditional. The dictionary says that unconditional means... not limited by conditions. (http://www.dictionary.com/) I love that...God's love does not come "under certain conditions". If I did this or if I did that. You know what I'm saying??? It's good to know that God's love is not something that I have to earn, or something that I have to continue to work for. I'm glad its not a points system!!!! Because if it was Manda would be in the negative numbers.!!!I have always known that, but I guess today I really thought about it. GOD'S LOVE IS UNCONDITIONAL!!!! I hope you can understand this.....I have read it over and over and can't determine if it is clear. Love you all!!!!

Valentine's Day

(This was not the cake we had.)


Valentine's Day!!!!This Valentine's Day I was not as tempted by food as I thought I would be, but don't get me wrong.....I was tempted. And kinda gave in!!!....Don't hurt me J.LOL!! Yesterday I went to my dads and ate supper with him, his girlfriend,her mom, her daughter, and her granddaughter.(Did you get all that!!) We decided just to eat in, and dad went to Katy's Katfish to get a chicken coupe!!(is that how you spell it?)If you don't know what that is....it's a big thing of chicken fingers, hush-puppies, and slaw for the whole family. We also had baked potatos with ours. It was good, but the whole time I ate it I felt like DIRT!!!!!!There was a little devil on my left shoulder telling me to go ahead and eat it, I could just work out more today. And besides.....It's Valentine's Day!!On my right shoulder there was a little J (my First Place Leader) telling me...."There's enough carbs in that meal to last you a week!!!!"LOL

Then a giant heart shaped Peanut Butter cake was layed on the table!!!Dad cut everyone a piece. As he handed me the cake I thought about just saying no, but I gave in. And then I had a cup of coffee with it.(that was prob. the best thing I had all night, exchanges wise)L and J, I don't know why I am even going to say this, but Mrs. Black ( I hate not saying people's name, I'm confusing myself) made the cake, and I didn't want to hurt her feelings!!!!I know! I know!!

Anyway, no one has to get on to me. I feel like dirt, but am going to work out more than I usually do today. And I have to now that I've told ya'll. I have worked too hard to lose my 10 pounds, and I am not going to let one meal set me back!!!!

On the up side LOST was awesome last night!!!!I am not even going to try to explain what happened, I would be typing all day. (And you still prob. wouldn't understand it!! Who does? I don't!!!LOL)And my dad sent me flowers!!!How Sweet!!!Love you all!!!!!

Prayer Request

I would like everyone to remember my mom's family in your prayers. She just found out this morning that her first cousin, his wife, and their two kids were killed in a car wreck yesterday. Mom's cousin found it on the internet.... so at the time they don't know much. Please keep them in your prayers. Thanks!Love you all!

This is for KK!!!

This is going to be very short....I have to get some work done. I can't wait until tonight...LOST!!!!It comes on at 7:00 and 8:00, but I think the first one is last weeks. I'm sure I missed something though!!Does it do that every week? Show 2 in one night?I don't know, I'm new at this.

Anyway, I had to write something because it has been a few days and KK told me I had to write EVERYday.lol!!Well there is nothing else to write about. I've had a pretty boring day....went to school....came home to more school work!!!JOY!JOY! But my Huntsville buddy, H is coming next weekend......can't wait. Oh an my mom is coming tomorrow night. Sorry mom I forgot you!LOL!Well I'll try to write some tomorrow......Biology is calling my name!Love you all!!

I'm Lost!!!!

Last night I spent the night with my dad. We first went to Lowe's to get some lights for the house he's building. In the middle of our shopping experience I heard him say something I never thought would come out of his mouth....." We have to get home by 7:00, Lost is coming on tonight." If you know my dad you know he's not much of a TV person. The only thing I have ever seen him watch (when he is in control of the remote) is the news and ballgames.

I was excited! I have never seen Lost before, and boy am I lost. I have no clue what's going on. But...now I'm hooked, and I can't wait untill next week!!!!But...I like Charlie's new "dead" haircut!LOL!

Beware of the Hanger Monster!

I don't know about you, but I have a problem with hangers at my house. There are never enough hangers to go around. Because me and my sister are so "freakishly tall" we have to hang everything up. If I attempted to dry my jeans...one, i might not be able to breathe when I put them on (if I could) , and second..... they would hit me about at the middle of my shin.Just about the only thing we dry is towels and ball t-shirts.LOL. We don't have much space to hang up our clothes in the laundry room so we have to hang them up in the living room!!!:( If I'm in a "lets get all the laundry done in one day" mood, the house looks like a jungle and I eventually have to stop because I ran out of hangers!!!

So I've come up with the conclusion that there is a Hanger Monster in my house. Beware of the Hanger Monster. He might be at you house next!LOL

I don't think at any point last week I had a " First Place " day!I like doing first place , but I tend to want more to eat when I can't have it. (But I think that's pretty common!) I had my first Thirty One show Sat. the 19th. Cina was the hostess (against her will). lol just kidding, but it was my idea. We had a good time, but the food wasn't very "first place." I picked up some chips and dip, which I told myself I wouldn't eat (that worked out for me....not!) And momma brought Krispy Kreme Doughnuts. I was busy during the party and had not thought of eating one, but the next day after momma left I was about to die! I tried to talk Cina into having one with me and just not tell anyone, but she stood her ground. I even offered to half one with her, but she wouldn't give in so I dumped them in the trash. I didn't just place the box in the trash can, I dumped each delicious doughnut one by one into the can. I did it this way so I wouldn't be tempted to go back and get them out of the box. I know it's nasty. As my dad says....."Manda, there's just somethings you don't tell!"But....it's all fun. The last 3 days have been very First Place, and I am determined to lose more that 1 1/2 pounds this week!!!

I'll Try!

I'm going to try " the blog thing". I love to read them, but I have really bad grammar!!!!I have just starting selling "Thirty One". My first party is Sat. I am excited but a little nervous. I hope this will help me to get more organized......I am one of those people that really want to be organized, but no matter how hard I try...I'm not!!lol!!I just got back from Salon 75. Cina had Ben up there while she was getting her hair done, but he got a little bored!!!He loves to play with my keyboard when it's on the sound effects setting. He thinks it's so cool.He likes to play music an "Square Dance", he says. He is so funny. Tonight is First Place, and once again I have not had the best week, but it's a little better. I can't just splurge a little. I go all out. Anyway I've got to go....I need to do some homework!!!
